Overview

We received the May 2017 “barbaric” box to review. Details on May’s box here. June 2017’s theme is Suit Up. Each theme opens gamers up to new options.

Subscription Options

  • Pay monthly (23.99 GBP)
  • Pay quarterly (every 3 months 68.97 GBP)
  • Pay every 6 months (131.94 GBP)

HOW IT WORKS

Each month you receive a model box that contains an unknown cargo. The contents adhere to the theme but vary each month, which agains opens up possibilities to different hobby projects. We received 2 barbarian minis, bag of 100 plastic skulls, 2 Vallejo blood paints, 1 Army Painter blood paint.

Listener Gabriel said Ep184 Huzzah 2017:

Hi – so I’m listening to the discussion around Chain of Command and the mortar attack rule and I agree. Having watched a number of mortar fires they tend to fall around, and there are a lot of things which need to align each time shots are fired. I like to make sure “Danger Close” is dangerous, so that if you start calling for mortars, or worse artillery fires, you risk them falling on you if you are not careful.

But I agree, if you don’t like the indirect fires – change it!
